Princeton Is Springfield's Pet Of The Week

SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Meet Princeton! He has been chosen as Springfield Patch's Pet Of The Week!

"This is Princeton! He is a 2 year old Leonberger Mix from Springfield. He loves to rRun and play with everyone. He is an emotional support dog so he visits hospitals and makes people smile. His favorite thing is to trade socks for treats. Prince loves to greet everyone with the biggest smile.

His favorite toy is an "indestructible" dinosaur but he can destroy any toy just give him 5 minutes, he will have a blast doing it. He loves running around like a crazy pup with his brother Monkey our cat. They love each other. Who said cats and dogs don't get along! Even if it's a 90 pound dog like Princey Boy."

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com with subject line "Springfield Pet Of The Week." Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the town you're from.

You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today. All photos must be property of the submitter.
