Road Improvement Projects Underway In Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Two roadwork projects are underway in the township.

Milling work began on Hobart Place, part of Archbridge Lane and Riverside Drive, began Wednesday.

After milling is completed, the street will be repaved, officials said. The streets will closed.

Milling work is slated to begin on Salter Street from Lyons Place to Brook Street Thursday. The street is scheduled to be repaved beginning Monday.

The streets will be closed to traffic during work.
