Rocco Is Springfield's Pet Of The Week

SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Meet Rocco! He has been chosen as Springfield Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"Rocco is a boxer with one blue eye and one brown eye. My husband and daughter have blue eyes and my son and I have brown so we feel he represents all of us!

Rocco is an energetic boxer who is also very loyal. He always makes sure to be near all of us and watches over the kids. He loves to run laps in our backyard, had a big bark but no bite and loves his backside rubbed! We live in Indian Village where you can always find their owners walking their dogs!"

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com. Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the part of town you're from. You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today.
