"I initially tried to make it not as a solo artist but as songwriter and a member of a band, making records and touring for a couple of years," Quick said. "Then I segued to for hire work for various recording sessions, gigs and tours with other artists."

From there Quick fell into the Broadway world. His first Broadway show was "Rock Of Ages" where he would fill in for the main guitar player — Joel Hoekstra of Whitesnake and Night Ranger fame.

Eventually he started playing in other Broadway shows such as "Lion King," "Aladdin," "Beautiful," and more.

Now Quick performs regularly for "School Of Rock" the musical. He performs about six days a week.

"It's been a really, really wonderful show," Quick said of "School of Rock" where he performs as Guitar 2.

In addition to Broadway work, Quick still performs sessions and tours with other artists and works as a composer for various music production companies in New York.

His composing work has aired on television channels such as A&E, Lifetime, Discovery and more.

"I compose for television during the day and play on Broadway at night," Quick said.

And he juggles all of this while spending time with his family and a six-month-old daughter at home.

Overall, Quick is happy where his career has taken him.

"It's been a fun ride and I've been really fortunate," Quick said."
