SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Meet Romeo and Jacky! They have been chosen as Springfield's Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"Romeo and Jacky are 6 year old German Shepherd puppies that we brought from India.

Romeo is the happiest, most affectionate and lovey, hungry German Shepherd on the planet and it's impossible to be stressed out or upset around him. He loves all people and things especially our son. He's extremely patient and understanding with our son and doesn't react even when our 18 month old pulls on his tail, whiskers or ears.

Jacky is Romeo's brother and is equally outgoing and friendly however he is afraid of his own shadow and petrified of new people, surroundings, sights, smells or sounds. He's incredibly nice once you get to know him. The only new experience that he fully embraced was the arrival of our son. He loves our son and makes clean up easy as he eats anything and everything before it hits the ground. Lettuce, check. Vegetables, check. Egg shells, check. Pistachio shells, check."
