SPRINGFIELD, NJ — After a year when too many traditions have had to be canceled for coronavirus safety, summer camps for kids are back on this year. The state has issued updated guidance on how these camps can safely operate during the coronavirus pandemic.
There are several options to keep the kids busy this summer around Springfield, including town-sponsored camps, arts camps, sports camps, and more.

Kiddie Academy of Springfield, 25 US-22 East, Springfield
Kids ages 2 to 5 are welcome to sign up. The program included hands-on activities, field trips, and a themed event.

Summer day camp available weekly through August for Springfield residents ages 5-10. Cost is $300 per week.
Lightbridge Academy, 27 Bleeker St., Millburn
A camp for elementary school age children, with themed weeks and outdoor activities. Parents can book just a few weeks or the whole summer.
Camp Riverbend Day Camp, 116 Hillcrest Rd., Warren
With different programs for kids up to 9th grade, Camp Riverbend features activities such as swimmig, sports, adventure courses and arts and crafts. Parents can from choose any two weeks up to the full seven-week program.
The Goddard School, 161 Millburn Av., Millburn
