Springfield Celebrates Pride Month 2020 at Rescheduled Outdoor Movie

Save the date! Join the Springfield Recreation Department and the Township of Springfield at a rescheduled Pride Month celebration. On Thursday, October 1 (rain date Sunday, October 4), the 2018 hit movie “Love, Simon” (PG-13) will be screened outdoors in Chisholm Park (100 South Springfield Avenue).Before the movie starts at 7:00 pm, gather for DJ music and free individually-wrapped popcorn bags at 6:00 pm; a live performance by students from Front & Center for Performing Arts at 6:30 pm; and official remarks at 6:45 pm. During the event, state crowd capacity limits and physical distancing will be enforced. Masks will be required. Bring your own lawn chairs and blankets. Questions?
