SPRINGFIELD LIBRARY GREAT BOOKS GROUP WILL MEET IN JUNE AND JULY

The group will not meet during the month of August.

The Great Book Discussion Group of the Springfield Public Library will meet to discuss “Principles of Morality”, by Immanuel Kant at 10:00 AM on Thursday,  June 18. The group will meet at 10:15 am on Monday, July 20, for a discussion of ”A Simple Heart”, by Gustav Flaubert.

 Meetings of the group will resume in the fall with the following schedule: “A Personal Identity”, by David Hume on September 17: ”Thus Spake Zarathustra”, by Friedrich Nietzsche on October 15; ”The Inferno” by Dante on November 19, and Book 3 of the Reflections of the Revolution in France” by Edmund Burke on December 17.
