The same police department also arrested another man with the same charges on April 9, after detectives posed as a child on the same dating app, in an undercover operation. The man, identified as Nevil Rana, 34, from Wallington, engaged in conversation with a girl whom he believed to be 15 years old and sent her sexually explicit photos of himself, according to police.
“The Secaucus Police Department will exhaust all our resources to protect children and remove these predators from the street,” Chief Dennis Miller said in a press release. “I am very thankful that no child was victimized.”
