Springfield Schools Close Monday Due To Snow

All Springfield Schools will be closed on Monday due to the declared state of emergency and snow storm, the district announced Sunday night.

SPRINGFIELD, NJ — All Springfield Schools will be closed on Monday due to the declared state of emergency and snow storm, the district announced Sunday night.

Kean University's main campus and Union County College also announced a delayed opening until noon on Monday due to inclement weather. (See Related: Kean University, UCC Have Delayed Openings Monday)

Gov. Phil Murphy declared a state of emergency for the winter storm on Sunday. All 21 counties are impacted by the storm with 5 to 8 inches expected to fall beginning Sunday afternoon and lasting until 7 a.m. on Monday. (See Related: NJ Gov. Phil Murphy Declares State Of Emergency For Snowstorm)
