UFO Sighting In Springfield Among 183 Reported In NJ In 2019
New Jersey had 183 reported sightings of strange objects in 2019, according to the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC).
SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Was it a bird? A plane? Superman? Whatever it could be, Springfield was among those places in New Jersey where a UFO was reportedly sighted in 2019.
New Jersey had 183 reported sightings of strange objects in 2019, according to the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC).
On July 6 at 1:18 p.m., in the Springfield, Columbus, and Wrightstown area, a resident reported a "box shape" that "moved quickly over [Route] 537 then hovered in place for a while. We tried to drive to where it was and lost track because of the trees."

The sighting made its way to a list compiled by the National UFO Reporting Center, an independent organization that's been around since 1974. The group, which has assisted police departments when people report their observations to 911, has put together a list of more than 90,000 sightings around the world.
