SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Wawa is kicking off its 57th-anniversary celebration at its Springfield location with a week-long throwback of the 80s and references to The Goldbergs.
The kick-off event is this Friday with a celebration at the Springfield Wawa store (685 Morris Turnpike), from 8 a.m to 9 a.m., where the special limited-edition The Goldbergs menu items will be unveiled.
Some of the proceeds from coffee purchased that day will go towards the Children’s Miracle Network, an organization which Wawa has partnered with for the year. And for the rest of the week purchases of the "The Goldbergs" Garlic Cheesy Chicken Parm Hoagie will also go toward member hospitals’ pediatric care efforts. Wawa is contributing up to $100,000, the company said in a press release.
