4 Adorable Kittens Ready For Adoption

SUMMIT, NJ — Looking for your next furry best friend? Check out these four adorable kittens that are available for adoption through Summit Animal Rescue Association (S.A.R.A.).

Dibley, Minnie, Emmie and Kaleigh

• Tabby (Brown / Chocolate)

These kittens were rescued from Carteret when they were under two weeks old. There were several moms with litters of kittens in a backyard. The rescuer wondered why one of the moms repeatedly took these kittens away from their mom and nursed them. Once they were brought inside the reason became apparent. The mom from this litter did not have any milk so the other cat had been keeping her kittens alive. This was not a problem for their new foster mom. She stepped in and bottle fed them for the next three weeks until they could eat solid food.

Dibley is the only male and is one of the tabby kittens. His sisters are Minnie, Emmie, and Kaleigh.
