Another Return To Normalcy In Summit: 'Meet The Mayor' Is Back
Mayor Nora Radest has office hours to chat with residents, or come to a 'Meet the Mayor' at Batavia Cafe or at the Summit Farmer's Market.
SUMMIT, NJ — Summit Mayor Nora Radest will resume in-person office hours at City Hall beginning this Monday. She also has two "Meet the Mayor" events coming up, one this month and one in July.
The mayor will hold office hours from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Mondays and from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. No appointment is required.
The next monthly Meet the Mayor event will be held on Saturday, June 19 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Batavia Café at 356 Springfield Ave. Residents are invited for an informal conversation with Mayor Radest on topics of interest to them.

On Sunday, July 11 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Mayor Radest will host another Meet the Mayor event at the Summit Farmers Market in Deforest Avenue Parking Lot 1.
“I am very pleased to reinstate my weekly office hours at City Hall and to begin holding weekend Meet the Mayor events each month,” said Summit Mayor Nora Radest.

She noted, “While I have been able to conduct business remotely, it will be wonderful to reconnect in-person and meet residents and business owners around town.”

In another return to normalcy, the Summit Common Council resumed its in-person meetings on June 1.
