Downed, Energized Wires Closes Tulip St., Linden Pl. In Summit

Police have shut down both vehicle and pedestrian traffic while repairs are made.

SUMMIT, NJ - High winds pulled down energized power lines on Tulip Street and Linden Place on Friday prompting road closures, according to the Summit Police Department.

Police have closed Tulip Street between Ashland Road and Oakland Place and Linden Place has been closed from Maple Street, officials said.

No pedestrian traffic is being allowed on Tulip Street and Linden Place during the repair process, police said.
