Elite Fencing Club Open To Summit Students
Community fencing program looking to develop world-class fencers.
SUMMIT, NJ - Elite Fencers Club founder Nick Vomero has set his sites high, committing not only to introduce young athletes to fencing, but to develop them into world class fencers.
"We run daily group classes and give private one-on-one lessons to our athletes," Vomero said. "Our athletes are starting to compete all over New Jersey and nationally as well."
The Elite Fencers Club is a fencing club located in Summit at 31 Woodland Ave. and currently has group and private classes.

According to Vomero, Elite FC member, Ayan Bhatnagar, took 5th place at the American Challenge RYC and there is more to follow.
"We have many more competitions coming up for over the summer where we are expecting our athlete to place well," he said.

There are two community fencing programs in Summit and Millburn Summit is run through the Summit Department of Community Programs and Millburn is run through the Millburn Recreation Department.
"We run fencing classes once a week to introduce young athlete to the sport of fencing," Vomero said.
Vomero holds a bachelor's of science and a master's of science degree from St. John’s University, where he was a Division-1 3x All-American in Men’s Epee. Vomero is a veteran of the United Stated Men’s Epee World Cup team and is a Division-1 NAC Senior National Champion.
His other results include a top 8 finish at the World University Games, multiple top 64 finishes in Senior World Cups and Senior Grand Prix’s and multiple top finishes at Division-1 NAC’s.
