Hungry? Try The 15-Layer Monstrous Grilled Cheese At The Office

The grilled cheese is stuffed with mozzarella, American and provolone cheese, beer-braised onions, bacon, potato chips, 5 slices of brioche.

SUMMIT, NJ — Are you hungry? I mean really, really hungry? Then you may want to head over to The Office Tavern Grill locations in Summit, Morristown and Ridgewood on Thursday, April 12, where they will be celebrating National Grilled Cheese Day with a massive cheesy creation.

For one day only, a monstrous grilled cheese, stuffed with mozzarella, American and provolone cheese, beer-braised onions, bacon, potato chips and five slices of toasted brioche bread, topped with pickles and crispy onions, totaling 15 layers will be served.

The stacked sandwich is available for $14 all day long on April 12. If that stuff you enough, the quintuple-decker grilled cheese also comes with a side of fries. Guests have a choice of regular, sweet potato, hash browns or, for those looking to limit their caloric intake, a quinoa salad.

“Creating each layer of this grilled cheese was a lot of fun,” said Kevin Felice, Corporate Executive Chef, 40NORTH Restaurant Group. “We were able to craft the most delicious, ultimate sandwich ever. Each layer of bacon, potato chips, cheese, bread and onions combine together to make the perfect crunchy, gooey bite. Our guests – if they can finish the whole thing – are going to love it.”
