Interfaith Community Thanksgiving Service Set for Sunday

Service begins at 5 p.m. at Central Presbyterian Church, 70 Maple St. in Summit.

Join your neighbors in giving thanks to God at the Community Thanksgiving Service, sponsored by the Summit Interfaith Council.

We will celebrate the ministry of Family Promise, a Summit-based interfaith ministry that provides temporary shelter for homeless families. Founder Karen Olsen will speak. A special offering will support the re-opening of the Union County Chapter of Family Promise.

Several congregations’ choirs and musical groups will present favorite musical selections. Light refreshments will follow the service.
