NJ Restaurant Serves Up Mystical New Creation: Unicorn Wings

Dare to try these? The Office Tavern Grill is offering fried golden brown and crispy wings dunked in a pastel, sparkling hot sauce.

SUMMIT, NJ — Dare to try a mystical new creation? The Office Tavern Grill in Summit Morristown and Ridgewood will be celebrating National Chicken Wing Day on Sunday, July 29 with Unicorn Wings.

For $12, guests can try an order of wings which uses The Office Tavern Grill’s signature chicken wings, fried to golden, crunchy perfection, and sauces them in a homemade hot sauce, tinted with all-natural, plant-based food dye in a variety of classic unicorn shades including pink, purple, yellow and green.

The wings are then served with a smattering of unicorn colored cereal and edible glitter before being topped with edible gold and silver leaf.

“National Chicken Wing Day is obviously one of our favorite holidays at The Office,” said Kevin Felice, Corporate Executive Chef, 40NORTH Restaurant Group. “To celebrate, we wanted to put a spin on our classic, popular chicken wing dish and make something more inventive and playful without compromising that familiar chicken wing taste. Unicorn themed food is so fun, it seemed like a perfect fit. The dish is definitely something that creates a perfect photo opportunity.”
