Julie T. Elphinstone passed away peacefully on Thursday December 31 at Overlook Hospital in Summit NJ after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Julie was born in Astoria Queens and raised in Manhasset New York. She re-located first to Florida then to New Jersey where she met and married the love of her life Greg Elphinstone.
Julie graduated from Adelphi University and spent most of her working career in the brokerage industry, most recently with the Whitover Private Wealth Management Group of UBS in New York City.

She became an active volunteer with The Sato Project placing rescued dogs with their forever homes. She was a Disney aficionado, and her favorite place was Disney World in Florida
.Julie was a loving and caring Aunt to her nieces and nephews and was a lady of elegance and class.She was predeceased by her parents Peter and Catherine Barbatsuly. Surviving are her husband Robert Gregory (Greg) Elphinstone, her "fur babies" Harry and Emmy, her brother George and his wife Tayra, her brother Peter and his wife Amber, nieces Elizabeth, Alexandra, Sophia, Isabella, Cecilia and Lindsey, and her nephews Nicolas, Dillon and Logan.
A private funeral service will be held on Friday January 8th at St. Johns Greek Orthodox Church in Tenafly followed by her burial at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Caldwell, NJ. due to Covid restrictions only immediate family will be allowed to attend and face coverings are required.
