Road Improvement Project Begins Near Summit Transfer Station
The city of Summit is beginning a road improvement project on New Providence Avenue, including installing granite curbing.

SUMMIT, NJ — The city of Summit began its road improvement project on New Providence Avenue from Kent Place Boulevard to the Summit Transfer Station on Monday, Jan. 13. The work will be completed by S & L Contractors of Kenilworth, NJ and include the installation of new granite block curbing. The road will be milled and paved in the spring.
Residents directly affected by the road work will receive additional information on the construction timeline, road use restrictions, and other pertinent information from the contractor.
