Rosalita Mexican To Close In Summit

Rosalita Mexican on 10 Maple St. in Summit will be closing its doors for good after 15 years in business.

SUMMIT, NJ — After 15 and a half years, Rosalita Mexican in Summit will be closing its doors for good.

The last day of operation is Saturday, June 30.

"I am retiring. It has been an honor to serve our wonderful guests over the past 15 1/2 years," Rosalita's owner Allan said on Facebook.

The restaurant specialized in Mexican cuisine and was best known for the "Tacos al Pastor," a Mexican specialty using a vertical spit and slow cooking with a flavorful marinade and topped with pineapple.
