September Kids Culinary Class at Whole Foods
Veggiecation Program and Whole Foods Market join forces to teach kids about their fruits and veggies with culinary classes.
Are your kids in need of a refresher course in fresh vegetables?Â
The Veggiecation Program and Whole Foods Market in New Jersey are teaching kids about fruits and veggies with kids’ culinary classes.Â
This month, young students will learn about and help prepare Peppers Invade Chick Peas and Celery and Apple Smoothie. Kids will take home complimentary Veggiecation activity sheets, and parents will receive a copy of recipes created that day. These classes are free and open to the public.

Kids will be invited to help prepare Veggiecation Program’s recipes, sample culinary creations, experience vegetables in their raw form and cast a vote on how they liked the recipes.Â
Kids will take home complimentary character coloring pages, word games, mazes and stickers. Parents will receive a copy of recipes created that day.

Developed for classrooms and homes, Veggiecation Program’s provides engaging activities which demonstrate that eating vegetables is "fun and delicious."
Veggiecation Program and Whole Foods Market kids’ cooking classes are free and open to the public. Preregistration for cooking classes at select Whole Foods Markets is required as seating islimited. Whole Foods Market stores requiring preregistration are noted by location.
The program will be held Whole Foods Market cafe in Vauxhall, at 2245 Springfield Avenue (908-688-1455) from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 27.
