Share sports Equipment In Summit Donation Drive
Leveling the Playing Field initiative provides underprivileged children with equipment.
SUMMIT, NJ, - Those looking to unload some used or new sports quipment can do so Saturday at the City of Summit Department of Community Programs and Leveling the
Playing Field's fourth annual sporting equipment drive on Saturday.
The program is set for Soldiers Memorial Field from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. near the Cornog Field House. The equipment drive will be held rain or shine.
Summit’s Leveling the Playing Field initiative was started by a local group of young athletes and their parents to help underprivileged children become involved in organized sports through donations of new and used sporting equipment. All equipment will be donated to low income families.
