SUMMIT, NJ — The city of Summit Department of Community Programs has announced opening day for its Summit Municipal Golf Course 2020 season will be Wednesday, May 6.

Registration is currently open online here.

Due to ongoing coronavirus outbreak restrictions, pre-registration for tee times will be required for all players and social distance guidelines will be strictly enforced. Other mandatory safety protocols can be viewed on the Summit Department of Community Programs website.

Annual membership rates for residents are $50 for adults, $40 for children ages 6 to 17, and $40 for senior citizens. Non-resident memberships begin at $115 for the season.

The Summit Municipal Golf Course is located at 189 River Road. The par 3, nine-hole executive course was designed by renowned golf architect Hal Purdy and covers 13 acres that was once a private estate.
