Summit To Host Virtual Meeting On Broad Street West Redevelopment
Proposals will be discussed for redeveloping the section of Summit bounded by Broad Street, Morris Avenue, and Maple Street.

SUMMIT, NJ — The city of Summit will host a community meeting and presentation by video conference on May 20 at 7 p.m. on proposed concepts for the Broad Street West redevelopment area.
The section of Summit bounded by Broad Street, Morris Avenue, and Maple Street, has been designated “an area in need of redevelopment” by the Planning Board.
During the virtual meeting, the community planner contracted by the city, Topology, will provide an update on the progress made by the project team since the last public meeting. Also, the designated redevelopers will present draft concept plans.

There will be an opportunity for public comment and questions following the presentations.
“We continue to lead a very inclusive community-wide process for the Broad Street West redevelopment project and encourage active participation from residents and members of the business community,” said Summit Mayor Nora Radest. “I am thrilled to present the preliminary concept plans to the public on May 20.”
