Summit Locals Still In Dark As Snow Arrives

Summit residents are still without power as of Wednesday since Friday's nor'easter and now a second snowstorm is upon us.

SUMMIT, NJ — Summit residents are still without power as of Wednesday since Friday's nor'easter and now a second snowstorm is upon us.

JCP&L is reporting 80 customers are without power in Union County with the most in Springfield with 39 followed by Summit with 31. Restoration of power is expected by 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night.

The National Weather Service says parts of New Jersey could get up to 2 feet of snow Wednesday, and some towns have already reported that nearly 1 inch of has fallen in their communities. (See Related: NJ Nor'easter Updates: 24" Possible In NJ; Snow Totals, Crashes)
