SUMMIT, NJ — A spokesperson for the Summit Police Department issued a release on Saturday asking for information — including sightings of suspicious vehicles — after someone entered a home on Friday and "removed several high-end valuables."
The release says:
"Yesterday evening, Friday, June 18, Summit police responded to the report of a burglary at a home on Waldron Avenue. The unknown actors had entered the residence between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. through an unlocked rear window and removed several high-end valuables. Detectives are asking residents on Waldron Avenue and surrounding streets to review home security camera footage for any suspicious activity including unfamiliar vehicles during that time."
