Students at LCJSMS welcomed author Jarrett Lerner to their class after they read his book, Enginerds.
SUMMIT, NJ — Students at LCJSMS welcomed author Jarrett Lerner to their class after they read his book, Enginerds.
Lerner talked about his writing and illustration process and how it takes several months and years of editing to produce something he's happy with! His message to the students was not to be afraid of making mistakes or failing because that's how you learn and grow as a creative force.Students were also excited to ask Lerner questions about the book and what inspired him to become an author. Thank you to LCJSMS School Librarian Ms. Thomas for writing a PTO grant to get each student a copy of the book and for the virtual visit!
