Summit Resident Reports Theft Of $60K In Jewelry
The victim suspects the theft occurred when contractors were around, police said.

SUMMIT, NJ — According to the Summit police reports from March, a resident of Templar Way reported that someone stole 11 pieces of jewelry, worth $60,000.
On March 25, police took a report at 12:16 p.m. about the theft. The victim told police that eight gold necklaces, two gold pocket watches, and a diamond ring were taken.
The victim believes the theft occurred "approximately two weeks prior when multiple contractors were at the residence," according to police.

Other police reports
In other home burglaries, police say they took a report earlier that month, on March 6, that someone tried to break into a Canoe Brook Parkway residence. But that person failed to gain entry.
