Update: Summit Schools Closed Wednesday; FDK Lottery Postponed

All Summit Public Schools will be closed Wednesday.

The full day, tuition-based kindergarten lottery, scheduled for Wednesday at 2:30 p.m., will be moved to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the Wilson Board Room. The iPad session for sixth grade parents will also be rescheduled.

All Summit Public Schools will be on a delayed opening schedule for Wednesday, according to the City of Summit.

If the decision is made to close schools for the entire day, calls will be made by approximately 7 a.m. Wednesday.

The full-day, tuition-based kindergarten lottery will take place at Wilson School at 2:30 p.m. as scheduled.

Times for the delayed opening are as follows:

• Summit High School 9:45 a.m. 
• Middle School 9:55 a.m. 
• Elementary 10:15 a.m. 
• Kindergarten A.M. 10:15 a.m. 
• Kindergarten P.M 12:45 p.m.
