Summit Schools Close Monday for Blizzard
Some Summit schools will be closed Monday due to forecasts of blizzard conditions and heavy snow.

Some Summit schools have announced school closings as the pending blizzard is set to dump one to two feet of snow on the state tomorrow.
- Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child in Summit will be closed.
- Kent Place School in Summit will be closed.

Summit is under a Blizzard watch from Monday afternoon through Tuesday evening, as more than a foot of “heavy blowing snow” is predicted to hit the state, the National Weather Service reports.

By Monday night, Summit could see 9 inches of new snow accumulation, with an additional 3 to 7 inches falling on Tuesday. According to the NWS, much of the state will see blizzard conditions and 1 to 2 feet of snow.
