Summit Shuts Down Pine Grove For Construction
Milling and and paving begins Monday and is anticipated to last two to three weeks, police said.
SUMMIT, NJ - Motorists who regularly use Pine Grove Avenue may want to consider an alternate route as milling and paving work will be temporarily taking it out of commission starting Monday.
According to officials, the section of Pine Grove Avenue from Springfield Avenue to Blackburn Road will be closed for construction.
Work will include the reconstruction of storm inlets/manholes, the installation of curbing where none exists, repair of the sidewalk and milling and paving of the road. Work is expected to last about two to three weeks. Officers will be onsite to direct traffic, officials said.
