Summit Sports Spotlight: Daniella Acitelli

SUMMIT, NJ - Sophomore Daniella Acitelli was chosen as a Summit sports spotlight athlete by gymnastics coaches Tracy Claus and Francie Day Degen.

"Sophomore Daniella Acitelli never competed as a club gymnast, but brings tremendous dance background to our JV squad. She also competed All-Around at all of the JV meets this season, and has consistently led in the standings. She also subbed into a Varsity meet at the last minute and competed beautifully. She is always looking to add more skills to her routines. She approaches gymnastics with a positive attitude that helps her translate her dance training into very strong gymnastics routines," the coaches said.
