SUMMIT, NJ - Freshman Jackson Levine was chosen by cross country coach Neal Sharma as a Summit sports spotlight athlete.

"Jackson has had a fantastic beginning to his cross country career at SHS. Jackson tied the freshmen SHS course record at Holmdel Park last week, running 11:38. His fourth place overall finish in the race contributed to the Freshmen team winning the team title and posting the 4th best team performance in the state. This past Friday, Jackson ran 17:32 over the Greystone Park 5k course and also tied the SHS freshman class record. Jackson is a committed, hard-worker. His efforts are integral to the present as well as the future of SHS boys XC." Sharma said.
