Summit Sports Spotlight: Mackenzie O'Dowd

SUMMIT, NJ - Junior Mackenzie O'Dowd was chosen as a Summit sports spotlight athlete by gymnastics coaches Tracy Claus and Francie Day Degen.

"Junior Mackenzie O'Dowd has been an incredible leader both in practice and at meets for our JV squad. She is always willing to work hard, and she is a great example for the younger girls that effort will pay off. Mackenzie has added difficulty on all of her events, and has competed All-Around at every JV meet this season. Her best event is floor and she's gotten to be a very powerful vaulter," the coaches said.
