Summit Sports Spotlight: Sydney Veloso, Giles Michel

SUMMIT, NJ - Girls JV Tennis players Sydney Veloso and Giles Michel were chosen as Summit sports spotlight athletes by Coach Bill O'Regan.

"The sophomore-freshman 4th doubles team of Sydney Veloso and Giles Michel has had more wins than any other this season, compiling a record of 11-2. One of those recent wins was the deciding factor in Summit's second 3-2 win vs Oak Knoll," O'Regan said. "Although they lost to Oak Knoll when we first played them in the beginning of September, Sydney and Giles battled hard and put on a gutsy performance by winning a close 8-6 match after being down 4-5 at one point."
