Summit Students Honored For Theatrical Performance

'Peter and the Starcatcher' cast members performed at the Montclair Theatre Night Awards.

SUMMIT, NJ - The Summit High School theatre program's fall production of Peter and the Starcatcher won Best Comedy Adaptation of a Literary Work and Iain Alvidrez won Best Actor in a Comedy Adaptation at the Montclair Theatre Night Awards at Montclair University.

As one of the seven schools nominated in three Best Overall categories, Summit was chosen to perform a short scene from their play featuring Best Actor nominees, Iain Alvidrez and Mitchell Sink, at the awards ceremony.

Over 70 New Jersey high school and middle schools participated in the annual Montclair Theatre Awards that recognizes excellence in non-musical plays.
