Summit Students Share Holiday Spirit

Music students perform for Lions Club and the Rotary Club of Summit.

SUMMIT, NJ - Members of the Summit High School Chamber Choir, Chamber Orchestra, and Hilltop String Quintet spread holiday spirit on Dec. 17.

Under the direction of Choral Director Daniel King and Orchestral Director Barbara Vierschilling, the students performed for both the Summit Lions Club and the Rotary Club of Summit at their annual Holiday Luncheon.

The program, held at the Grand Summit Hotel, featured works by Michael Praetorius and Franz Schubert and included other holiday favorites such as "Silver Bells", "I'll Be Home for Christmas", and "Carol of the Bells." Afterwards, the students were treated to holiday cookies and hot cocoa.
