Summit's Annual Pet Show This Saturday

​Is your furry friend ready to strut their stuff? The annual Summit PAL Pet Show will be held on Saturday on the Village Green.

SUMMIT, NJ — Is your furry friend ready to strut their stuff? The annual Summit PAL Pet Show will be held on Saturday on the Village Green.

This year the pet show will feature a dog only show and a separate pet exhibition. In the dog show, small, medium, and large dogs will compete by walking with their owners across the stage in front of the judges.

The pet exhibition showcases all other animals including cats, reptiles, birds, and others simultaneously on an auxiliary stage.

Prizes will be awarded for each category. Prizes for participation will be provided courtesy of the PAL.

All pets must be kept on leashes or in pet carriers at all times during the event.

Check in and registration for the free event will open at 1 p.m and judging will begin at 1:30 p.m. In the event of rain, the pet show will be held on Sunday.
