Woman and Two Young Children Struck by Vehicle in Summit
Injuries sustained are non-life threatening, according to police.

A woman pushing a double baby stroller with two young children inside was struck by an oncoming vehicle as she attempted to cross Broad Street, according to police.
The incident occurred at approximately 11:28 a.m. Thursday morning. According to police, the woman, identified only as a caregiver, was crossing the street near the intersection of Elm when she and the stroller she was pushing were hit by an oncoming vehicle.Â
The young children, whose identities and ages were not released, and the caregiver suffered non-life threatening injuries during the accident and were transported to Morristown Medical Center.

The driver was identified only as a Springfield residents.
Further details were not available as of early Thursday evening. The cause of the accident is still under investigation. No summonses have been issued at this time.
