Woodhouse Day Spa Plans Celebration, Summit Library Wants Feedback This Week

The Summit Public Library is asking for the community's feedback. Learn more about how you can let the library know what you'd like to see via an online or in-person survey. 

Self-made stylist and Summit mom Elaine Wang Yu began her own business after her volunteer work at Madison-based Dress for Success inspired her to pursue her passion for fashion. Learn more about Simply Chic later this week. 

Woodhouse Day Spa has opened at 420 Springfield Ave. Check back for Patch's review of the 5,000-square-foot relaxation haven which is inviting the community to its grand opening celebration on Saturday, Feb. 8.

The Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School parent teacher organization is asking for donations to assist DJ Abdullah, a crossing guard and member for LCJSMS's cafeteria staff, who was struck by a car while working at the intersection of Elm Street and Morris Avenue. Those interested in making a contribution are asked to please send checks payable to "LCJSMS PTO" and write "crossing guard" on the memo line. All donations should be submitted to school either by mail or by drop off no later than Friday.
