2 Lanes Closed In Both Directions On Rt. 4
Only the left-hand lane is open on part of Route 4, causing major delays.
TEANECK, NJ — Part of Route 4 is down to one lane and there are major delays in the area due to emergency roadwork.
Only the left lane on Route 4 going in both directions west of Belle Avenue is open, 511nj.org, the state's emergency traffic notification system reported. The right and center lanes are closed. Work is being done on a pedestrian footbridge.
Motorists should plan for extra travel time or use an alternate route.
