Bergen Hospital Ranked No. 1 In NJ
3 other Bergen County hospitals were ranked in the top 25 in the state, by U.S. News and World Report.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Hackensack University Medical Center was named the number one hospital in the state by U.S. News and World Report best-in-the-state list.
The publication ranked more than 4,500 medical centers in the U.S. in 25 specialties, procedures and conditions. The rankings also looked at the best hospitals in every state and 20 hospitals made it to the honor roll, a distinction given to hospitals that deliver exceptional treatment across multiple specialties.
Hackensack Medical Center was ranked across three specialities: Neurology and neurosurgery, urology and orthopedics and one children's specialty, pediatric neurology and neurosurgery.

Valley Hospital in Ridgewood was also ranked high, at number five.
“These distinctions are a reflection of Valley’s commitment to providing excellent clinical care and service,” said Audrey Meyers, president and CEO of The Valley Hospital and Valley Health System.

Englewood Hospital was ranked, along with 10 others, at 13th while Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck was ranked 24th.
