Bergen Lotto Player Nets $1 Million In Winnings

The ticket was sold at a Lyndhurst Stop & Shop, lottery officials announced.

LYNDHURST, NJ — A Bergen County lottery player netted over $1 million in winnings from the Sunday Jersey Cash 5 drawing, lottery officials announced.

The winning ticket matched all five numbers, landing the winner $1,089,300, according to lottery officials.

The ticket was sold at Lyndhurst Stop & Shop, 425 Levandowski St. A $2,000 check will be awarded to the retailer, officials said.

As a Jersey 5 winner is announced, the Mega Millions and Powerball jackpot continues to rise.

The Powerball jackpot rose to $123 million for the next drawing, to be held Wednesday, and the Mega Millions jackpot now sits at $43 million.
