"CELEBRATING THE HOLIDAYS WITH ART AND HOPE" Virtual Art Show.

The Hackensack Art Club invites you to our Virtual Art Show on Zoom. On December 5th, at 7 pm

Despite the Pandemic, the Hackensack Art Club continues making efforts to share art and hope with the community. We had our first ever virtual art show last July and we are doing another this Saturday, December 5th, at 7pm. We want to share our love and warmth through our artwork. Anyone is welcome to join us.

Please invite your friends and share the link and invitation below.

The club has worked to maintain quality programming at its meetings, to provide opportunities for members to display their work to the public, to encourage and offer art education to members, young artists, and to continue to play a major role in the cultural life of Bergen County. Current meetings take place on the first Monday of the month from 6 pm to 7:30 pm on zoom. Feel free to come to one of our demonstrations.

The Hackensack Art Club is a non-profit organization. The club is entirely financed by its
membership dues. Each month the demonstrations are open for the public for a small guest fee of $3 dollars. (we will do it again in the near future). Saturday's Virtual Art Show is free on zoom.

In more than 81 years of art and history, some distinguished members have passed away. I did not know many of them, but I can imagine how hard they worked to continue preserving the traditions and cultural life through art. We sorely miss them, but their artwork, talent and memories continue to touch their families, friends and community forever.

Local artists are invited to join and become a member of this prestigious art club.We mount a variety of art shows during the year and all members are invited to exhibit. Please fill in the form on our Contact Page for more info. (Annual fee $40)

We have the great fortune of having a well known local artist, Joe LaMattina as the judge for our show. He will select the "Best in Show". Joe LaMattina taught art to the students of Hackensack Public Schools since 1975 and he is a prolific artist in his own right. He decided to continue his journey with a shift, which allows him more time to focus on integrating his studio time, gallery shows and private teaching. Please visit his website to see his unique artwork and wonderful use of rich colors. http://www.joelamattina.com/

Thank you for supporting local artists,
