TEANECK, NJ — Clarence Arthur Wilkes Jr., 74, of Teaneck died Saturday.
He was director of admissions at Lehman College of Bronx, New York before retiring.
He was an alumnus of Wilberforce University, Ohio.

He was a life member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. He was a member of the Unity Church of Christ, Maywood.
He was predeceased by his sister, Helen.

He is survived by his longtime partner, Tina Motley; daughter Traci Wilkes Smith, and her husband, Charles; sister Lynne King; grandchildren Zoe and Charles; and nieces and nephews Karen, Bryant, Chris, Kiel, Ashley, and Courtney.
Visitation is Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Volk Leber Funeral Home, Teaneck. A funeral service is Friday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Internment is at Mount Hope Cemetery, Hastings-On-Hudson, New York.
