Coronavirus Claims Lives Of Bergen County Couple Of 55 Years

ORADELL, NJ — Charles and Elizabeth Mylod lived a "modern-day love story," according to their shared obituary. Earlier this month, the husband and wife of 55 years died within 48 hours of each other after being diagnosed with the new coronavirus.

NorthJersey.com reported on April 22 that Charles died April 2, and Elizabeth (known as "Betty") died April 4. According to the report, the couple were avid fans of sports and quality time with their family.

In lieu of flowers, the Mylod family asks that donations be made to United Way of Bergen County in the name of the fight against the new coronavirus.
