From Teaneck Police:Â
Several severe storms over the last couple of years, including the March 2010 Nor’easter, Hurricane Irene this past August and the most recent Halloween Nor’easter this past October, have been stark reminders of the need to be properly prepared in the event of a natural disaster. The Teaneck Police Department, in conjunction with the Teaneck Fire Department and Teaneck’s Office of Emergency Management Coordinator, will be hosting a series of Township Emergency Preparedness Meetings this year.
The first session was held on January 25th, with future dates of February 15th, and March 21st. Please join us at one of the meetings that will be held at Teaneck Police Headquarters at 7:00 p.m. on the aforementioned dates. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the essentials of emergency preparedness as well as the services available from the township.Â
