Holy Name Has Vaccinated 1,000 Bergen County Educators
The vaccination site at Teaneck's Richard Rodda Center has already inoculated 1,000 educators, and announced plans to do more.

TEANECK, NJ — Holy Name Medical Center staff inoculated the 1,000th Bergen County educator at Teaneck's Richard Rodda Center, illustrating the county's commitment to vaccinating school staff.
Congressman Josh Gottheimer was in attendance Thursday for the occasion, and said it was an important step in the state's path forward.
"We need to ensure that our teachers and students can begin safely returning to the classroom. Getting more of our North Jersey educators and school staff vaccinated is a major priority of mine in order to make this next step toward pandemic recovery a reality," said Gottheimer.

"Holy Name and all their frontline health care workers and staff have been true leaders throughout the COVID-19 crisis, and I applaud them for their current work in vaccinating so many North Jersey educators, school staff, and residents from throughout our community."
Bergen Catholic High School's social studies chair John Tedeschi was the 1,oooth educator to be vaccinated at the clinic, according to Gottheimer's Office.

Tedeschi was joined by fellow Bergen Catholic High School educators and school staff, including Dr. Brian Mahoney, Bergen Catholic High School president; Michael Rucereto, who teaches robotics engineering; Tom McLaughlin, a history teacher and baseball coach; and Bob Muggeo, the school's head baseball coach..jpg)
Holy Name officials furthered their commitment to educators recently, promising to vaccinate every educator who signs up in their system within the next two weeks, Gottheimer said.
